Our Vision
Spectrum understands how valuable an investment in eyeglasses can be, as well as how difficult it may be to part with a cherished or personal pair. When your glasses fail, we think you should have alternatives. That is why we are devoted to discovering a means to rescue practically any eyeglass frame, and we are continually adjusting to new eyewear styles and materials. We have a small crew of innovative, competent specialists that focus on our clients' demands by fixing their glasses swiftly and permanently. With over 75 years of combined expertise, our trained specialists can be relied on to create creative, long-lasting solutions at a reasonable cost.
Our History
In 1993, two guys wanted to provide a service to their town that it didn't yet have. Fast, long-lasting, and low-cost eyeglass repairs. Spectrum Eyeglass Repair was founded on Mike's business expertise and J.J.'s years of experience at LensCrafters. They began offering solders and small repairs out of the tiny basement of a medical office building, armed with a torch, a desire to help, and a guitar to pass the time.
As news spread and demand for Spectrum's services increased, they moved to a larger storefront and hired more employees while perfecting their repair methods.
We offer a comprehensive range of repairs, personalized clip-ons, magnifiers, and eyewear accessories. We provide repair services to customers around the world, in addition to our retail services, and we partner with over thirty optical labs and optical stores throughout the U.S.

Spectrum Gives Back
Spectrum Eyeglass Repair teams up with local radio station KTRS 550 to sponsor St. Louis Men’s Group against Cancer and the Toys for Tots Radio Marathon. We also contribute to Fight Against Alzheimer’s.
In 2012, the Crestwood mall closed, and Santa was left without a home for Christmas. This was the only Santa JJ’s children knew, so we decided to offer our store as his seasonal home. For two weekends each December, we host photos with Santa in our shop. The entire proceeds go to Toys For School Kids. We also partner with the City of Crestwood, Crestwood Fire Department, and Christmas in Crestwood to host Santa at Crestwood City Hall to kick off each Christmas season.
